The Turkish Data Protection Authority Approves the Turkish Football Federation’s Commitment on the Transfer of Personal Data Abroad

The Turkish Football Federation (“TFF”) had applied the Personal Data Protection Board ("Board"), as a data controller to transfer personal data abroad. The application has been evaluated by the Board.

The application was evaluated within the scope of subparagraph (b) of the 2nd paragraph of the 9th article of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698.

As a result of the undertaking application, the said data transfer was allowed by the Board on 18.01.2022.
