DATA BREACH AFFECTS 7.5 MILLION CREATIVE CLOUD ACCOUNTS IN ADOBE

31 October 2019

Adobe announced on 25.10.2019 that approximately 7.5 million Creative Cloud accounts have been exposed to the public.

A database which was easily accessible to anyone through a web browser have included sensitive user info of 7.5 million Creative Cloud accounts such as email addresses, the Adobe products they were subscribed to, account creation date, subscription and payment status, local time zone, member ID, time of the last login, and whether they were an Adobe employee.

Adobe officials noticed the data breach on 19.10.2019, and secured the database on the same day. However, it is not known exactly when the breach occurred.

Afterward, the Abode authorities made a data breach statement, and announced that customer information including the e-mail address was seized but there was no breach regarding password or financial information.
