The Turkish Patent and Trademark Office Publishes the Fee Tariff Year of 2024

The Communiqué (“Communiqué”) Regarding the Fee Tariff to be Implemented by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office ("Office", "TURKPATENT") in 2024, prepared by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, entered into force through publication in the Official Gazette dated April 24, 2024 and numbered 32526.

• According to the Communiqué, the following fees have been set for applications made through e-Devlet:

• The patent and utility model application fee is 45.75 Turkish Liras,
• The design registration application fee is 183.00 Turkish Liras,
• The patent certificate issuance fee is 541.50 Turkish Liras,
• The trademark registration fee is 1,121.92 Turkish Liras,
• The trademark renewal fee is 1,424.58 Turkish Liras,
• The trademark objection fee is 1,258.33 Turkish Liras.

• The Office fees determined by the Communiqué do not include the Fees and Value Added Tax shown in columns I/2, I/3, I/4, I/5, and I/6 of Tariff 8 of the Law No. 492 (“Law”) which is dated 2/7/1964.
• The total fee to be paid for the requested service will be calculated by adding value-added tax and any fees to the TURKPATENT fee.
• Fee payments will be made by depositing into the account of the Office with the electronic application system of the Office or by credit card.
• The Communiqué Regarding the Fee Tariff to be Implemented by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office in 2023 (BİK/TÜRKPATENT: 2023/1), published in the Official Gazette dated 31/12/2022 and numbered 32060, has been repealed by this . Communiqué
