EDPB Launches Data Protection Guide for Small Business

The European Data Protection Board (“the EDPB”) has recently released a Data Protection Guide (“the Guide”) aimed at assisting small business owners in achieving greater compliance with data protection regulations. The Guide's primary goal is to increase awareness of the GDPR among SMEs and offer practical guidance on GDPR compliance in a format that is accessible and easy to understand.

The Guide covers various aspects of the GDPR, ranging from fundamental data protection principles to data subject rights, data breaches, and more.

It includes videos, infographics, interactive flowcharts, and other useful materials to help SMEs implement data protection measures. Additionally, the Guide features an overview of helpful resources developed for SMEs by national Data Protection Authorities.
