Amendments to the Communiqué on the Electronic General Assembly Meetings System to be Applied in the General Assembly Meetings of Joint Stock Companies

The Communiqué amending the Communiqué on the Electronic General Assembly Meetings System to be applied in the General Meetings of Joint Stock Companies ("The Communiqué") was published in the Official Gazette of 24 July 2002 under number 32611.

The change made by the Communiqué is summarised as follows;

Article 5 of the existing Communiqué entitled "Access to the Electronic General Assembly Meetings System", which reads as follows "Access to the system for electronic participation in the General Assembly Meeting of Shareholders of joint stock companies begins one hour before the announced starting time of the General Assembly Meeting and lasts until five minutes after the starting time of the General Assembly Meeting.

is amended to read as follows: “Access to the system for electronic participation in the general aasembly meeting of a joint-stock company shall begin at 6 a.m. on the day of the general aasembly meeting and shall last until five minutes before the start of the general assembly meeting.”

The Communiqué entered into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
