Turkish Competition Authority Decides to Open an Investigation Against Adidas

The Competition Authority (“Authority”) has announced the decision to open an investigation against Adidas Spor Malzemeleri Satış ve Pazarlama Inc. on September 20, 2024, on its official website.

Following the preliminary investigation conducted by the Competition Authority, the decision not to open an investigation dated April 21, 2022, numbered 22-18/300-133 was annulled by the Ankara 12th Administrative Court (“Court”).

In its meeting on August 28, 2024, the Authority reviewed the information and documents in the file and decided to open an investigation against Adidas Adidas Spor Malzemeleri Satış ve Pazarlama Inc. under decision number 24-35/856-M in order to comply with the Court’s ruling.
