EDPS PUBLISHES OPINIONS ON THE DIGITAL SERVICES ACT AND THE DIGITAL MARKETS ACT

The European Data Protection Supervisor (“EDPS”) has recently published Opinions on the Proposals for Digital Services Act[1] and Digital Markets Act[2] (dated 10 February 2021).
Considered points in the Opinion 1/2021 on the Proposal for a Digital Services Act are as follows;

Considered points in the Opinion 2/2021 on the Proposal for a Digital Markets Act are as follows;

- Practices of gatekeepers that limit contestability and are unfair
