The Singapore Data Protection Authority imposes a fine of $14,000, on Nature Society (Singapore) for breaches of the PDPA.
The Personal Data Protection Commission Singapore (“PDPC”) imposed a fine of $14,000 with the decision dated 14th of January 2022, case numbered DP-2011-B7351.
Nature Society has been imposed due to:
- Failing to put in place reasonable measures to protect personal data on its website database;
- Not appointing a data protection officer;
- Not having written policies and practices necessary to comply with the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”).
